Use Outlook to see city weather

Outlook 2016 and 2013 calendar feature allow users to see the city weather information. The default city configured in Outlook is New York, NY. And you want to see the weather for city of your choice then do the following steps.

Step 1: Launch Outlook and navigate to Calendar screen.

Step 2 : Click the down arrow available next to New York and select Add Location.

Step 3: For example you want to see Weather in Chennai, then enter Chennai and click the Search button and pick the nearest location from the drop down.

Now the temperature of the newly added location will be displayed as shown below.

Changing the Fahrenheit to Celsius

The default unit of temperature is set to Fahrenheit and you can change this to Celsius using the Outlook Options.

Step 1: Click the File menu and select Options from the list.

Step 2: In the Outlook Options window, click the Calendar option.

Step 3: Scroll down to Weather section and mark the radio option with caption as Celsius.

Step 4: Click OK button to confirm and the save the changes.

Turn off display of Weather

If you are not interested in Weather information and want to hide or turn off this feature then un mark the check box with label as Show weather on the Calendar under Calendar option.
